Our goal is to become the ​​globally recognised mark of freshness. Currently, we are working on three projects introducing and deploying Bump technology to consumer products to reduce unnecessary waste of juice, meat, and seafood.

Juice & Smoothies

We are revolutionising the safe consumption of drinks by adding the Bump Cap to bottles, demonstrating longer shelf life and seamlessly integrating into filing and packaging processes.

Seafood

Following a successful feasibility study, we are working to develop and scale our Bump technology for seafood in a follow-on R&D project. Previously we found that Bump Tag can extend the shelf life of three top seafood categories in the UK, salmon, prawns and cod, by up to 6 days. It could cut 31% of seafood waste in the UK, saving 9,000 tonnes of edible seafood.

We conducted some research on a new Bump indicator to help the monitoring and storing COVID-19 vaccines in order to keep these doses effective and safe in developing countries prone to power outages.
