Graphic design internship

We are looking for a graphic design student or graduate to carry out a handful of graphic communication projects to support our product launch. Your work will help radically reduce unnecessary waste in the food industry.

About us

At Mimica, we’re developing a label, Mimica Touch, that tells you exactly when food spoils. We are driven by reducing food waste and improving food safety for everyone. We are preparing to launch our product in the market and we’re looking for someone who can help us create a set of assets to support our critical first steps in the market as part of our team in London or remotely.

We’re looking for someone passionate about sustainability, making a difference to food waste reduction and food security and who wants to see how a startup company operates from the inside. You should have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable with self-managing and willing to learn on the job too.

Some of your activities may include:

  • Upgrading the website

  • Adapting our label graphics to fit industry standards

  • Designing a beautiful and clear sales presentation

  • Infographic design

  • Graphics for social media content

  • Launch campaign assets

  • Anything else within the scope of the above

Internship length and work hours

We are flexible with the length of the internship, but envisage something between 1-2 months. We are also open to this being a longer, part time internship. We hope that the internship can commence in September.

Our typical intern work hours are between 9-5pm Monday-Thursday, although work hours are very flexible and we're happy to work around your schedule.

This is a paid internship at national minimum wage. You will also have access to free events and training courses through our various memberships for the duration of your internship.

We’re based at the R/GA agency office in Shoreditch in East London, a short walk away from Old Street station and Liverpool Street station. This internship can also be carried out remotely - please make sure you let us know which one you’d prefer in your cover letter.

If we’ve made your brain itch, please get in touch and send your CV, short portfolio and a bit about your interest in the position to
